Your Guide to Bank Cards’ Airline and Hotel Transfer Partners

This post is your one-stop-shop to see which bank rewards programs allow their points to be converted into various airline and hotel loyalty program points!

The charts below include rewards programs from Capital One®, Chase®, Citi®, and American Express®

Each of these banks offer various personal and business credit cards to earn their points. Once you earn those points, you have the option to transfer them to the bank’s partner airline and hotel programs. You do NOT need the airline or hotel’s branded credit card. Just simply sign up for their free member loyalty program.

This redemption can often result in getting MORE monetary value per point. An example is Chase Ultimate Rewards® which are worth 1.25-1.5 cents per point, but can be worth 2.5-3 cents per point when converted into World of Hyatt points. Always compare redemption options before transferring! You cannot reverse/convert points back to the bank’s travel rewards program if you change your mind.

Head to the “redeem rewards” section of your card’s website or app. It will then display the option to transfer points. You will enter your airline/hotel loyalty number, as well as amount of points you would like to transfer.
