You guys! There are so many big opportunities right now to earn Chase Ultimate Rewards, one of the most valuable travel points programs out there!

Check out these FOUR different Chase cards with AWESOME card sign-up bonuses!:

Chase Ink Business Cash - Earn $750 bonus cash back after you spend $6,000 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening
Chase Ink Business Unlimited - Earn $750 Bonus Cash Back after you spend $6,000 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening
Chase Sapphire Reserve - Earn 100,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards Points after you spend $8,000 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening
Chase Sapphire Preferred - Earn 60,000 bonus points after you spend $4,000 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening

Why is this such a big deal? Because the value of an Ultimate Reward point can be 1.25-2+ cents per point depending on how you redeem them! That’s HUGE!

And with the option to redeem points through the Chase travel portal or transfer points out to one of their travel partner programs like World of Hyatt, United Mileage Plus, Southwest Rapid Rewards, and more, there is no way you won’t be able to find an exciting way to use these points toward your next trip!  P.S. - You do not need to hold a credit card for their travel partners to transfer points out to these loyalty programs.

Note that with the two ink business cards mentioned above, you are going to want to already have one of the Sapphire personal cards to make those points earned with the Ink worth more. You will want to move those Ultimate Rewards earned with the Ink card into your Sapphire account for flexible redemption options! This is super easy to do! You should also know that you do NOT need a Tax ID or LLC to qualify for a business card! You can use your social security number and a side hustle to qualify as a business!!

Something else to point out — you can combine your Ultimate Rewards with any other household member’s Ultimate Rewards account as well! 🤯

Ok, now let me provide you with more detail about your options for redeeming Ultimate Reward points:

Option 1) The Chase Travel Portal. This is by far the most common way that people redeem Ultimate Reward points toward travel. In fact, some people think it’s the ONLY way you can redeem points. By using the Chase travel booking portal (think Expedia), you can use the value of your points as cash toward nearly every brand of hotel, airline, rental car, etc. out there! I’ve not only booked the major brands, but I’ve booked boutique/privately owned hotels as well. With the Chase Sapphire Preferred card, the redemption value is 1.25 cents per point.  With the Chase Sapphire Reserve card, the redemption value is 1.5 cents per point. Example: A hotel room for $125 would be 10,000 Ultimate Reward points if you have the Preferred card and it would be 8,333 points if you have the Reserve card.

Option 2) Transfer Points to a Partner Loyalty Program. You also have the option to transfer/convert your Ultimate Reward points to one of Chase’s travel partner loyalty programs at a rate of 1-for-1 points at no cost! These Chase travel partners include the airlines: JetBlue TrueBlue, Southwest Rapid Rewards, United Mileage Plus, British Airways Executive Club, Aer Lingus AerClub, Emirates Skywards, Air France and KLM Flying Blue, Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer, and Virgin Atlantic Flying Club . Travel partner hotel programs include: World of Hyatt, Marriott Bonvoy and IHG Rewards. I’ve often found that this option makes my Ultimate Reward points worth EVEN MORE than 1.25/1.5 cents per point when I transfer them to loyalty partners such as World of Hyatt or Southwest Rapid Rewards! You do NOT have to have a credit card with these partner programs to transfer points!

Option 3) “Pay Yourself Back” Statement Credit. From now until Dec 31, 2022, reimburse yourself for any Airbnb or select charities charges you put on your card with Ultimate Reward points! The reimbursement is in the form of a card statement credit. You can select your eligible purchases on the card as far back as 90 days. You then redeem points for the full or partial amount of those purchases. The point redemption rate is the same as booking through the Chase Travel Portal: 1.25 cents per point for the Sapphire Preferred card and 1.5 cents per point for the Sapphire Reserve card.

Example: You use your Chase Sapphire card for a $250 night at an Airbnb. A couple days later you log into your account, select that Airbnb transaction, and redeem 20k points as a statement credit for $250 if you have the Preferred OR 16,666 points as a statement credit if you have the Reserve card. Again, this option currently has an expiration date of December 31, 2022.

Let me know if you have any questions about these cards, the offers, and the ways to earn and redeem these points. I absolutely LOVE Ultimate Rewards!!
